Despite my girlfriends strict reluctance to agree with me, I personally think Cornwall has some of the best beaches in the world, of which my favourite is Sennen Bay. Sennen is about 3 and half hours from home (Bristol), on a good day, and a little more on a bad one. It’s is the most Western point in England and sits bravely against a rugged backdrop looking out to Canada and the States. It is certainly set up for a slower pace of life, but one filled with stunning views, huge surf and great seafood. If I were to suggest a few must see’s they would be.. Sennen Bay for evening beers (or wine), Gurnards head (Zennor) for food, Treen beach for sun and swimming (and nudists unfortunately) and Gwenver bay for surf.
